Multi-functional office design for Berlin design agency balancing remote work trends with collaborative needs. 'Home to home' concept creating four distinct zones from teamwork areas to sunset balcony with barbecue.

One floor in the offices of the design agency Eden Spiekermann in Berlin was designed. Although the total area is rather small, it should offer a variety of meeting spaces and interactive scenarios. The overall concept was 'home to home' - creating a workspace with a recreational quality. At a time when many people work remotely, the characteristics of the office need to be matched with the comforts of home. The space was then divided into four segments.
1 - A teamwork area with flexible seating and a presentation wall for quick idea exchanges and workshops.
2 - A sofa lounge with plants and bookshelves to create a cozy living room atmosphere.

The presentation from the teamwork area can be extended into this space, using the raised platform and sofa as additional seating. Adjacent is a narrow balcony with folding benches and a barbecue, perfect for watching the sunset after a successful meeting. 3 - A more traditional meeting table, enclosed by a curtain that can be moved as required, offering different degrees of opening and scenarios depending on how the room is used at any given time. 4 - A kitchen counter with storage and cloakroom facilities, alongside a bar counter for events and after-work drinks.
